Research Network of Universities, Industry, and National Laboratories

Student participation and education, one of the primary missions of the SQuInT Network, is furthered at the summer school and retreat. The main goals of the retreat are:

(1) To give junior researchers in the SQuInT Network a common foundation in the theory of quantum information and quantum computation, and descriptions of a wide variety of experimental systems and techniques in which the manipulation of quantum information is being attempted or realized.

(2) To strengthen the SQuInT Network by promoting direct interactions between junior researchers from different research groups.
