The Annual SQuInT Workshop is typically held during late winter at one of the SQuInT Network's node institutions Held over a two and a half day period, it is an opportunity to facilitate the exchange of ideas within the network as well as bring in external invited speakers . A healthy mix of PI, postdoc, and student presentations is the hallmark the successful SQuInT format.

The founding of SQuInT Dec 17-18 1998 (photo), at the IBM Almaden Research Center was proceeded by a series of workshops sponsored by the Center for Advanced Studies at University of New Mexico on "Quantum Control of Atomic Motion".
